This is something special. Had the pleasure of meeting Terence way back in 2005 when we were both exchange students in Cape Town, SA. He does great work. This is really awesome. Sundance, you’ve selected a more than worthy artist.

Good friend and sometimes collaborator, immensely talented jack of ALL trades @Terence Nance was accepted in the SUNDANCE NEXT category with his film AN OVER SIMPLIFICATION OF HER BEAUTY. 

This year I know two black folk personally who were accepted.  Zero degrees of separation mayn!

I’m super hyped to be surrounded by so many talented black artists/film school compatriots: Bed Stuy is the new Harlem Renaissance. #jeah! #sundancebitch!
