In it you’ll find poems I wrote, along with poems by two of my most special young women, Anaisee Elizabyth and Dizzy SenZe. We made this book as a life-giving force. It has been crucial in keeping spirit alive during trying times and provided a beautiful space to escape and engage. There are 15 poems in here, each of us wrote one (together, at her kitchen table), based on five writing prompts. My cousin Ivy Meissner contributed the cover photo, my dear friend Kameelah Rasheed gifted her images for the inside, and we borrowed many prompts from one of my own mentors, Rachel McKibbens.Please read online or download it to print at leisure and do send feedback.
