Last November, I was selected as an Artist-in-Residence at the Center for Book Arts in Manhattan. For the past two weekends, I have been hand sewing books, binding backs, and selecting the perfect weights of papers. I am exhausted, but loving all the process of learning new things. 

I just hand-sewed 30 books for the kids with whom I am doing a collage and socially engaged art practices workshop this Friday. 

 

Also, I got my studio keys!
